bio
A North Shore native, Meghan brings an incredible combination of high-level playing experience, coaching expertise, and a passion for helping young athletes grow both on and off the court.
Meghan played four years at New Trier High School, while competing at the club level for Wildcat Jrs. She continued her playing career at Butler University, where she helped lead the club volleyball program to a National Championship in 2017, followed by third-place finishes at the National Championships in both 2018 and 2019. Her leadership extended beyond the court as she was elected President of Butler Club Volleyball during the 2019-2020 season, which is a testament to the respect and confidence she earned from her teammates.
As a coach, Meghan has spent more than six years developing athletes ages 10-17 and has become especially well known for her ability to teach and develop setters. Her attention to detail, communication skills, and passion for the position make her an incredible resource for our athletes and coaching staff.
What makes Meghan truly unique, however, is the perspective she brings beyond volleyball.
She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and holds an Education Specialist Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Loyola University Chicago. Throughout her career, she has worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and families navigating anxiety, ADHD, behavioral challenges, self-esteem, emotion regulation, and social development.
